If your crew wants to actually dance instead of shouting over a DJ, this is the spot. The room still has its original jazz-era murals and leather booths from its days as A Touch of Class, the club that once hosted James Brown and Marvin Gaye. House bands and local acts play funk, soul and jazz, and the floor fills up fast on weekends. It's a short walk from Upper King, so it works as the last stop of the night.
